I have personally been working in the Information Technology industry for over the last twenty seven years as a freelance IT Support Consultant, which has involved solving problems with hardware and software by being on site, or by telephone and on-line for both large and small companies here in the UK & Aboard (Europe & Mauritius) as well as individual user.

We build quality and advise on stand-alone Computer systems, Servers and Workstations to a client's requirements and specifications with professional advice on their software needs.

Since the launch of Windows 95/98/2000/ME /XP Home & Pro & Vista (32bit & 64bit) Operating systems, I have been setting up and training people on these systems and Microsoft SBS,  Microsoft Exchange, MS Office Pro up to and including MS XP Professional.

We have been over the last year beta testing Windows 7 and we have sorted out patches for this operating system for some applications and components and now it has been released it is working very well (much better than Vista ever did, but beware if you are using Windows 7 upgrade as it still has problems with the migration from Vista).

With smaller individual users and companies who find computer manuals hard to follow I have composed small easy to follow manuals and training that has made the programs more user friendly and supplied them with telephone support.

I also have a wide experience of digital photography which includes scanning high quality images for very high quality publishing from colour and black & white negatives and transparencies.

I also have a vast knowledge of utilities programs, Virus scan, System security (Wireless or Wired) and Communications software both in DOS and Windows, as well as experience with "DIBS" (Disk Image Backup System) used in computer forensics by various investigation agencies world wide.
